  • Slack User ID and Team ID: To identify you within Slack workspaces
  • Mood check-in data: The mood you select and any optional notes you add
  • Email address: When you link your account via our web interface
  • Timestamps: When you perform check-ins

3. Information We Do NOT Collect

We want to be crystal clear about what we never access:

  • We do NOT read your Slack messages
  • We do NOT access your channels or conversations
  • We do NOT track your browsing activity
  • We do NOT sell or share your data with third parties

4. How We Use Your Information

Your data is used solely to:

  • Display your mood history in the App Home view
  • Allow you to export your wellness data
  • Enable cross-workspace continuity when you change jobs
  • Provide guided breathing exercises (no data stored for this)

5. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely in encrypted PostgreSQL databases. We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted connections, secure authentication, and regular security audits.

6. Data Retention

We retain your mood check-in data for as long as you use the service. You can request deletion of all your data at any time through our data deletion page.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access: Export all your data via the /stayfit_export command or web interface
  • Delete: Request complete deletion of your data
  • Portability: Download your data in JSON format

8. Third-Party Services

Our service integrates with Slack. When you use our bot, Slack's privacy policy also applies to how Slack processes your interactions. We encourage you to review Slack's privacy policy.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes through the Slack bot or via email if you have linked your account.
